"This small cafe caught my eye as I was driving past so I decided to give it a try. I tried the idly, vada and it was so tasty. It is a one man show run by the owner himself and I had a really nice chat with him too. Super friendly welcoming and great service. I will definitely be going back to try the dosa and other dishes in the coming days."

"Amazing food. We had the masala dosai and fresh and hot ulundu vadai. Would recommend the ginger chai as well. Love the quiet location as well. Excellent service and very friendly. Completely forgot I was in NZ for a while because of the experience."

"It’s a small cafe and The service was excellent and The sambhar, the chutney is so yummy ! it’s got the right amount of spice and is mad flavourful ! I was in shock because it’s not easy to have good dosas in this country! Definitely recommending a lot of people and we should support such talented cooks that are like Rare gems in New Zealand when it comes to south asian food! This was way way better than Saravana! Oh and their ginger tea and masala chai is a delight !"

"Aariz is a very good place if someone is longing to have South Indian and Srilankan food after long travels away from home. We were tourists from Sydney and Chef Ashok treated us and served us with great food. The Paneer Dosa, Kothu Roti and Mysore masala dosa were highlights. I definitely recommend for my friends in Sydney to visit this place when you are in Auckland"
